Meet the Authors

Hi, I’m Michelle, a Michigan blogger passionate about natural health and green living. Openeyehealth is my outlet for all of the interesting health information http://jump4loves.com/russian-mail-order-bride/ and ideas I come across since I absolutely love browsing health stores, reading up on all kinds of health topics, visiting farmers and artisans markets, and making healthy meals and snacks.

I am married to my best friend, Ryan, and we have two adorable tabby cats, Spaz and Felix. Our favorite thing to do together is travel and we’ve been to many places (France, England, Hawaii, Jamaica (where we got married!), and Mexico) in addition to lots of continental travel. We hope to travel to many more places and start a family in the future!

I am also proud to share many articles on openeyehealth done by our contributing writer, Sarah, who is called to healing on many different levels and is a certified Reiki practitioner.

Thanks for visiting and please feel free to contact me at michelle@openeyehealth.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Wow, looks beautiful. So much information and so little time to view it. Congratulations on your work Michelle. I just found it.

I randomly came across your website looking for homemade dish soap :) I’m hooked….I love your site! AND, my husband & I are Grand Rapids natives {living in North Carolina currently}. Thanks for the wealth of information!

I love your recipes. I already have some variations of the same that I love. I do like to try different variations.
BUT I do have one problem with your ingredients.
Tap water???!! Not ever! Not unless you boil it first. Are you not aware of what is the water supply?? I am cheap, but I only use distilled water in my lotions and soaps. Bottled water, something, but never tap water.
Keep up the great web site!

I’m not sure we ever state to use tap water. I have an RO filter that I prefer for recipes. In fact, if you search, we have some posts about this very topic! :)
