I was just reading in Nourishing Traditions (my copy finally arrived!! :) that flax seeds are fantastic to add to your diet because the oil contains a high omega-3 count with fewer omega-6. This can help balance out our American diets which typically are much richer in omega-6 than omega-3. Ideally we need a 1:1 ratio; however in store bought eggs, the disparity can be as great as 1:19!!</description>
